Orrville Railroad Heritage Society

Preserving Ohio's Railroading Heritage

Welcome to the Orrville Railroad Heritage Society

Founded by a small group of railroad enthusiasts, the Orrville Railroad Heritage Society (ORHS) promotes the preservation of our Ohio railroad heritage. ORHS is organized as a non-profit 501(c)(3) historical, educational organization and is based in Orrville, Ohio, a town that owes its very existence and development to the railroad industry in Ohio.

Visit with US

ORHS offers events open to the general public at both the Orrville Union Depot Museum and train rides at our nearby rail yard. Events include National Train Day, Orrville Railroad Day, National Rail Safety Day, Jumpin' Pumpkin Jamboree, Christmas at the Depot and more. Check out our Events page for more information.

Become a Member

Anyone can become a member of ORHS. Membership is easy so please see our Membership page for more information about how you can become a member and help support ORHS.

Get Involved

ORHS needs volunteers with any skills from office work to hosting to structure and rolling stock maintenance and restoration. So we're sure you can fit in with our organization. For more information on how to volunteer with ORHS, please see our Volunteer page.
